What We All Can Learn From Curious George
My new role model is Curious George. No really, I’m being serious.
A few months ago, I learned about the important mindset of curiosity. You may be thinking “Um, Hiral, that’s not even a mindset. Curiosity is a thing we all have.” That’s the issue though:
We all have curiosity, but aren’t always using it the right way.
Curious George is well… curious. But what Curious George does that many people don’t is act on his curiosity. He experiments, he learns, and he tries, tries, and tries again.
Many people are curious about some pretty cool things but don’t know how to channel that interest. Because of this, they stay passively curious and end up forgetting about their curiosity, or ultimately just let it go.
We also tend to automatically reject many of our curiosities because they aren’t a priority at the time and other things may seem more important, but that’s one of the biggest mistakes you could make.
This is where a lot of people go wrong and miss out on opportunities that could change their lives. Delving into your interests and natural curiosities allows us to find the things we love to do and possibly even your life passion.
